I am an Agile Coach, Mentor, Trainer, and Transformational Leader with a deep commitment to helping organizations thrive in their Agile journeys. With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding diverse teams across various industries, transforming their processes into scalable and sustainable Agile environments.
My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, recognizing that every team and organization is unique. I specialize in implementing and refining Agile frameworks like Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, LeSS, and Kanban, always with a focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement. I work closely with teams to enhance Agile maturity, ensuring that their growth is aligned with the broader organizational goals.
Throughout my career at companies such as Fidelity, John Deere, and Scholastic, I’ve been fortunate to lead large-scale Agile transformations that have not only improved operational efficiency but also brought a deeper sense of collaboration and fulfillment to the teams I’ve worked with. My passion is in guiding organizations through complex changes, building strong, resilient Agile practices, and helping them achieve both their immediate and long-term goals in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.

Simply put, Mike is an outstanding performer. He's one of the most enthusiastic, hard-working and determined people I've ever worked with. While at NYSE Euronext, Mike demonstrated his ability to project manage a demanding schedule of Drupal themers and deliver the work on time.
He never had a problem explaining things with patience and clarity, and he would even take the time to show people how to do things. On top of his ability to deliver what was promised, he always went the extra mile to make sure the job got done. He has an incredible attitude and a great sense of humor to top it off.
Mike is not your average project manager. He doesn't live for Microsoft project, and he doesn't insist that you sign in to the wiki to download the latest schedule.
What Mike does do is dig into to new and unknown processes and challenges, clean up what's messy, solve what's broken. and stay on the job until it's done. His background as an events producer lends itself to this kind of all-purpose hired gun.
If you need someone to do whatever task is required to get the job done, Mike is your man.
Mike has an extraordinary talent coaching and guiding teams through their scrum journey! I had the pleasure to work closely with Mike Anderson at John Deere on multiple work engagements the past three years. He helped to coach several of the scrum teams within my business capability. One specific Scrum Master spoke highly of Mike's ability to relate quickly to a team and build a rapport to be able to coach them on areas of opportunities to improve their scrum practices. His knowledge and experience has taught me a lot on my own agile coaching journey.
I had the extreme pleasure of working with Mike on several projects at Scholastic. Mike was the senior project manager, responsible for all aspects of project planning, resourcing, project management, issue and risk management. The projects we worked on were some of the most complex (technically, functionally, organizationally, business processes) that I've worked on in my 37 years in the IT industry. Mike did an amazing job of pulling everyone together, effectively managing multiple high pressure, high visibility projects.
Mike demonstrated his skills and expertise over several projects. He would be excellent as the head of a project management office, managing several large projects or programs, coaching and mentoring other project managers, and leading large organizations. Without Mike's leadership and talent, the projects we delivered would not have been completed.
Mike is a strong senior project manager who played an instrumental role in the delivery of two large scale Drupal site builds for the core consumer audiences of Scholastic. He was able to manage multiple work streams and development vendors and balance the often conflicting priorities and change orders of the business. Mike has hands on knowledge and expertise with Agile development processes and often sought to bring process improvements and training to others on the team in this field.
Mike has a great sense of humor and demonstrates passion, teamwork and commitment in all of his work.
Mike has done an admirable job in a very difficult position. As the only senior project manager, he has had to juggle multiple projects and manage very difficult internal customers. Mike does a great job of interfacing with all the stakeholders and participants on the projects and helping to drive to consensus on difficult issues. He also has a great disposition and is someone who keeps a positive attitude, even during challenging situations.
